Mattress great, but bad exp w/delivery and finding serial #

We paid for Tumpur-pedic hauling away old mattress, but delivery showed up and just placed mattress new front entrance and left without a word. Called store we purchased mattress, they said a glitch in system occurred and delivery truck returned 45 minutes later and completed delivery scope. Then we went to register the mattress that required serial number which I could not find on mattress, so called Tumpur-pedic customer service, they kept providing erroneous information (3 times) on finding the serial number line unzip the cover... I finally insisted on talking to a supervisor and finally was given correct info on finding serial number. We like the mattress but hope Tumpur-pedic will improve their quality control.

It's not a bad mattress. I do think given the amount of money you spend you should get a longer time to test the mattress. I only realized later on that it was too firm. Seems nice otherwise.

I bought this mattress along with the EASE Power Base. I went to a local store to try out the different levels of firmness and selected the "Firm" level and ordered direct from Tempur-Pedic online since I wanted the bed delivered and set up and (rightly) assumed they would know how to do it quickly without any issues. The mattress was shipped in a couple of weeks. Delivery and setup went smoothly. I basically put on my new sheets and rolled into it. The mattress is FIRM. Much firmer than the store model I tried out, which is totally fine with me. You sink into the mattress after a minute and it conforms to your body. I slept like a rock the first night on this mattress and have every night since. Night and day from my old bed (no pun intended). It may seem lumpy when you get up after sleeping or sitting on it, but it springs back and re-conforms to you when you get back on it. Based on my limited run so far, I would recommend it. My last mattress from somewhere else only lasted 6 years. I expect much more from this one.

Really bad customer representative accuse me of manipulating photo, and when claim finally get solved and ask customer to pay the delivery for replacement product. Why customer has to pay the delivery fee when your original produce was bad quality and last only three years. One star is even too much for them.
