OMG!!!! This mattress is everything Tempur-Pedic says it is. The very first night, my husband and I overslept. The cooling effects that this king size mattress brings is excellent. It's worth every dime!!!!

Day one, it was hard and not very comfortable. Fast forward a week, the bed is broken in and feels great. I have not woken up with any back pain since purchase.

It is a decent foam mattress, probably of better quality than some. If you woke up hot after sleeping on your old foam mattress, you will likely wake up feeling just as hot after a night on this mattress. The very temporary coolness when you first lie down may help you fall asleep comfortably, but after 20 minutes or so you may as well be on the old foam mattress that never promised a cooler night's sleep.
