For me I was worried about this bed being too firm from when I tested it in stores but after warming up fro being shipped I found it to be very supportive and comfortable.

My husband and I purchased the split king with the adjustable base. We invested a lot of money into these expensive mattresses to help with our back pain. The mattresses helped with our back pain but have caused both of us to have terrible shoulder pain. The mattresses do not give for your shoulders when you sleep on your side. I called to talk to someone at Tempur-Pedic and they told me to walk on our beds and buy toppers for our mattresses. We are very disappointed to have invested so much of our savings into mattresses we thought would help our pain instead of causing it.
